bKash distributes relief to flood victims

News Report bKash gave relief to ten thousand people of Brahmaputra's remotest Chars. Two weeks of food and emergency relief were distributed to the two thousand families of four unions of Kurigram district. Thirty metric tons of relief was provided to the flood victims of remote grounds of Brahmaputra- Kheyruar-Char, Ashtamir-Char, Thanahat and Kodal Katai union under Chilmari and Char Rajibpur Upazilas. The daily necessities distributed to the families were rice, lentil, oil, salt, sugar, milk, chili, spices, drinking water, biscuits, emergency medicine, saline, water purification tablets. A 10-member team including Head of Sales Emon Kalyan Dutta, Head of External Affairs AKM Monirul Karim, Head of Corporate Communications and PR Shamsuddin Haider Dalim, participated in the relief work. Outside of this program, the bKash employees are endlessly campaigning for personal funding and donations for the flood victims.
