Rotary distributes hand sanitizer

Hand sanitizer distribution has started among the working people of Dhaka city by Rotary International District, Bangladesh. The distribution programme was opened by M Khairul Alam, Governor of Rotary. He said, "Our working people have to stay out of the house every day for employment. They are an important partner in keeping the wheels of the economy in the city. It is impossible for them to provide family food if they do not go out of work every day. But in Dhaka city, there is not enough public place for washing hands, these working people are at high risk of getting infected with the corona virus. In that case they have no choice but to clean their hands repeatedly with hand sanitizer. But the crisis of hand sanitizer is now on the market. Due to financial reasons and lack of awareness, the opportunities for working people are limited". Rotary is therefore distributing 30,000 hand sanitizers among the working people. It is to be noted that this hand sanitizer is being prepared for free distribution under the direct supervision of Rotary International with technical support from the Gana Shastha University of Savar, says a press release. Rotary Youth Organization Rotaract is in charge of distribution of this handrail sanitizer, created with its own funds from fifty Rotary Clubs. While distributing hand sanitizer volunteers have been trained to adhere to complete hygiene and distribute 'One to One' to avoid crowds. Another program is also being planned for distribution of food items among working people Governor Khairul Alam told the training volunteers.
