Seminar held at CUB

News Report A seminar on 'Importance and Impact of ITEE' was held at Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB) auditorium in the city recently. School of Science and Engineering of Canadian University of Bangladesh (CUB), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) jointly organised the programme. Dr. Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat, founder chairman of the Board of Trustees, graced the programme as the chief guest. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam, vice-chancellor, chaired the seminar. Akihiro Shoji, JICA expert, was present as the special guest while Golam Sarwar, project director of BCC, delivered the keynote paper. Dr. MD Shahrukh Adnan Khan, associate professor and dean (acting), School of Science and Engineering, Head of EEE Department and Director of Innovation and Commercialization Centre, moderated the programme. Among others, Professor Dr. Nazrul Islam, advisor, Board of Trustees and dean, School of Business; Sheikh Mozaffar Hossain, treasurer (designate), S M Arifuzzaman, associate professor and head, School of Business; Capt. Kazi Ali Imam, head, Department of Shipping and Maritime Science, Shah Reza Fahad Hossain, HoD (acting), Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty member and programme supervisor and many others were present.
