Air Chief hands out BAF Colour awards

Chief of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat awarded BAF Colour to 25 Squadrons, 201 Maintainance Unit, 203 Maintenance Unit and Aero Medical Institute of the BAF for their professional excellence at Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu in the city on Wednesday, reports UNB. On his arrival at BAF Base Bangabandhu, Chief of Air Staff was cordially received by Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bangabandhu, Air Vice Marshal M Sayed Hossain. During the Colour Award Ceremony, Chief of Air Staff witnessed the parade at the parade ground of Bangladesh Air Force Base Bangabandhu. The parade was commanded by Wing Commander Md Masudur Rahman, GD(P), according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR). The Chief of Air Staff took part in a special monajat offered for the preservation of Bangladesh Air Force Colour. He recalled the valiant contribution of the members of Bangladesh Air Force during the Liberation War and urged all ranks of the BAF to be more skilled and highly professional. The Air Chief hoped that BAF will continue its operational activities both in space and beyond in future. He also mentioned that BAF will mark its contribution to the development of Aviation Sector of Bangladesh. He thanked all members of the Squadron and Units for achieving prestigious BAF colour and advised them to uphold the honour, dignity and pride of BAF colour through the patriotism and professionalism. Later, Chief of Air Staff signed a visitor's book. Among others, Principal Staff Officers of BAF and other members of Bangladesh Air Force were present on the occasion.
