City corps plan second combat

News Report Seven hundred and sixteen new patients were hospitalised with dengue in different hospitals and clinics across the country in the last 24 hours till Monday morning. Though there was no casualty reported during the period, so far official toll was recorded 76 while unofficial account was 152. Meanwhile, Dhaka city corporations took plan to launch second round of combed against Aedes mosquitoes that bear the virus of the diseases. Among the new dengue patients, 300 were diagnosed in Dhaka while 416 others outside the capital, said sources at the control room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). No dengue related death was recorded during the period. Currently, 3,091 dengue patients are being treated at hospitals and clinics across the country while 1522 in Dhaka and 1,569 in the other parts of the country. The government said 77,230 people were hospitalised with dengue since the beginning of this year. Of them, 73,942 made full recovery.
