It has been the year of Priyanka Chopra. Just like the year before it. Priyanka Chopra, who celebrated her 36th birthday on 18 july , has a way of making news. If she is not making red- carpet appearances, she is in the news for finding love again with singer Nick Jonas and then there is her decision to write her memoirs. And then, there is Priyanka's grand comeback to Bollywood. The Quantico star has already signed two films in Bollywood -- there is Salman Khan's Bharat for which Priyanka is apparently getting a record payment and Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink for which she is allegedly the first Bollywood actress to get profit-sharing deal. On Priyanka's birthday, we found ourselves another reason to fuss over her. Going through her social media, interviews, videos and more, we realised how great the last year has been to her. Priyanka did great work as a UNICEF ambassador when she visited the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, toured through Assam to promote the tourism industry and stunned everyone at the royal wedding. She was a part of yet another Hollywood movie, signed two new Bollywood projects and also announced her biography. Phew! That's a lot to pack into a single year. Priyanka Chopra, who broke barriers as the first South Asian woman to lead a prime-time network show in the U.S. But she was already a phenomenon in her native India. Chopra was crowned Miss World 2000 when she was 18, which she followed up with more than 50 films in Hindi, while steadily steering her talents toward Hollywood and an English-language music career that includes collaborations with Pitbull and Pharrell. "The hardest part of starting work in America, after having an almost 15-year career elsewhere," says Chopra, was to have to walk into a room and introduce myself." Although she started her career with a Tamil film, 'Thamizan', it was not long before she made her debut in Bollywood as the second lead in the 2003 film 'The Hero'. She was noted for the glamorous role she portrayed in her next film 'Andaaz' and also earned a Filmfare Award for it. Thereafter, she starred in numerous box-office successes including 'Aitraaz', 'Krrish', '7 Khoon Maaf', 'Fashion' and 'Barfi!'. She has received several awards and much appreciation for her performances in films over the years. Priyanka Chopra Success Story is inspiring and motivating. She is a powerful woman and her story will encourage other women to accept the challenges of life and move forward to success.
