Bangladesh A, riding on a century by opener Shadman Islam, took a 67-run first innings lead with four wickets remaining against touring Ireland A team after the 2nd day's play of the four-day unofficial Test match at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Thursday, reports UNB. Replying to Ireland's first innings total of 255 runs, the 2nd string Bangladesh team opened the first innings with their overnight total of 38 for 1 in 13 overs and finally scored 322 runs for 6 in 103 overs at stumps on the 2nd day to take the lead. Opener Shadman Islam, who was batting on 22 runs on the first day, hammered a century scoring polished 108 runs off 219 balls with the help of 15 boundaries while another overnight batsman captain Nazmul Hossain Shanta (15) contributed 69 runs off 135 balls, hitting seven fours.
