Jinnatul Noor, sister of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam BSc, died of old age complications in the early hours of Thursday at her residence, Bahaddar Bari, in Chittagong district, reports BSS. She was 80. She left behind her two sons, two daughters, grandsons and daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death. Jinnatul will be laid to eternal rest at Bahaddar Bari Jame Masjid graveyard after Asr prayers following her namaj-e-janaza. According to the release, Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry's Secretary Dr. Nomita Halder, Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET) Director General (DG) Md Selim Reza, Wage Earners' Welfare Board (WEWB) DG Gazi Mohammad Julhash, Bangladesh Overseas and Employment Services Limited (BOESL) Managing Director (MD) Maran Kumar Chakraborty and Probashi Kallyan Bank Managing Director A.N.M. Masrurul Huda Siraji expressed profound shock at the death of Jinnatul. They prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
