Hellcat of Wuhan

Hellcat of Wuhan

By Khan M Salehin

Standing now on the edge of the deep end The hacate has planted her paws all over my sculpture Infected my membrane and airways Wit with her wantonness I am stuck in the quarantine This is my sequel I could not change it I am sick and I must die. Her greedy leer has swallowed the terra All things to end are made And I am singing ‘Ringa ringa roses...’ And we all are falling down. I lived an opulent lifestyle like a poor billionaire Pearly yatchs and Van Gogh granite castle Always outburst with plenteous glee Looked only my mammon out Restless with Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Flamenco in the ballroom dance. I couldn’t immune myself from her sting Now physic is stooping My wealth cannot buy my health Treasure winks at others’ fortune I am sick now Am I not going to die? Taste the bitterness of the death The truth couldn’t be denied. So set down the buckle Serve you and me well Forgo all those we have been through Now beseech for you and me The spell of the hellcat of Wuhan must die. 29/03/2020 Quarantine
