Thakurgaon clash with locals

Thakurgaon, Feb 12: Border guards fired on a mob amid a clash with locals over cattle seizure in Thakurgaon frontier area Tuesday, leaving at least four dead, including an SSC examinee, sources said. At least 15 others were also injured as members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) opened fire during the clash with 'cattle smugglers' at Bahrampur village in Haripur upazila in the morning, News Today correspondent Sarker Fazlul Haque reports, quoting officials and locals. The deceased were identified as Nabab, 35, Sadequl, 32, Sohel, 35, and Joynul, 16, a candidate in the ongoing Secondary School Certificate exams.
